Our client, a leading European bulk shipping group, is expanding its team in Dubai and seeks a Senior Dry Operator to oversee and manage operations for time-chartered and owned vessels. This role focuses on ensuring efficient and cost-effective voyage execution, providing strategic value to both internal teams and external clients.

• Manage all operational activities for assigned vessels, from contract compliance to voyage planning.
• Monitor and optimize fuel consumption, cargo intake, and sea routes; coordinate with ship captains for smooth operations.
• Issue and manage voyage orders, agency appointments, and bunker orders as needed.
• Liaise with agents and external contractors to ensure prompt and compliant operations.
• Conduct laytime calculations and negotiate demurrage claims with clients.
• Maintain regular communication with the Chartering and Operations departments, addressing any voyage-related issues.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in dry bulk operations, ideally with IMOS experience.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, especially in profit and loss monitoring.
• Proactive and flexible, with a willingness to address urgent matters outside of standard working hours.
• Fluent in English, with knowledge of Arabic or other languages preferred.
