A prestigious Middle Eastern shipping company is seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to join its team in Dubai. This role is responsible for overseeing the technical operations of a fleet of bulk carriers, ensuring that all vessels meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

• Manage all technical aspects of assigned vessels, including maintenance, repairs, and drydockings.
• Prepare and manage vessel budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and efficient resource allocation.
• Oversee inspections and surveys, collaborating closely with the crew to address technical challenges.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure smooth vessel operations.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations.

• Chief Engineer’s license or equivalent, with minimum 2 years’ experience as a Technical Superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of bulk carriers, with prior experience in the Middle Eastern shipping sector preferred.
• Proven budgeting and cost management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
